CGT Undergraduate Committee

CGT’s Undergraduate Committee unites undergraduates interested in engaging issues of global relevance about which they are passionate.

Designed as an opportunity for Columbia’s undergraduate students to gain access to distinguished scholars and practitioners, from the Columbia community and beyond, whose work brings them to the forefront of global trends. Students on the Undergraduate Committee, in tandem with CGT staff, will plan and execute events which will facilitate conversation on a wide-range of topics. The Committee on Global Thought faculty hope to encourage Columbia undergraduates to engage issues and consider broad and interdisciplinary solutions and methodologies in addressing them.

Students on the Undergraduate Committee have the opportunity to engage with CGT members and fellows, as well as outside lecturers, in CGT-sponsored events each semester.

We hope you’ll become involved in the Undergraduate Committee!
