M.A. Graduate – Class of 2016
Inspired by the campus atmosphere in Beijing Sport University, I was dedicated to sports event and sports media during my undergraduate period. I was member of the organizing committee of World Men’s Curling Championship, Table Tennis China Open and Badminton World Super Series. To me, Sport is more than the competition itself. It also reflects cultural diversity, international relation, and global changes.
I have also spent months in Xinhua News Agency as an intern editor. In this place I was surrounded by global information every work day and witnessed how world rapidly changes and people in different regions are connected, so I hope to seek deepened understanding of global politics, economy and culture on a larger scale and continue to spread up-to-minute information through media weapon.
I want to focus on media, sports, international relations, culture.
Following the completion of the M.A. in Global Thought, I plan to earn a Ph.D. in Communication/ Sociology, or to be a global journalist.
