Andrew Wells is the Program Coordinator for the Committee on Global Thought. He provides operational, logistic, and supervisory support to the CGT and its various programs and events.
After graduating from the University of Virginia in 2016 with a B.A. in Foreign Affairs and Italian Studies, Wells spent much of his time gaining international and linguistic experience. He worked for a year teaching English at a local high school in Milan, Italy before moving to France to earn his master’s in International Security from Sciences Po (Paris School of International Affairs). At Sciences Po, Wells specialized in diplomacy and Middle Eastern studies, but also has knowledge and experience in areas including peacebuilding, negotiation and conflict management, American politics and elections, and Italian language and cultural history. Prior to joining the CGT, he worked five summers at Columbia’s Pre-College Programs, where he eventually became a head administrator. His work experience also includes time spent as a Program Assistant at the German Marshall Fund’s Paris-based Inclusive Leadership Hub.
