Citizenship: Ukraine

Born in Alchevsk, Ukraine, I had to move due to the Russian occupation in 2014. I graduated from school at 15 and have visited 22 countries. I have lived in Asia, Russia, the USA, and Europe, and speak five languages. During my BA, I was awarded an Erasmus+ scholarship to Canada.

In 2022, after the Russian invasion, I volunteered on the frontlines with a US ex-Marine veteran, interpreting military training. I then moved to California to work as a paralegal but returned to Ukraine to be with my fiancé. While living in Kharkiv, I launched charitable female English-speaking clubs and built a community of 300 women. For the past year, I have worked for a US media monitoring startup focusing on major US democratic political organizations.

I plan to research demographics in Ukraine.
