Citizenship: United Kingdom

I grew up in London and completed my undergraduate degree at the London School of Economics, where I did a BSc in Politics and International Relations. My primary area of interest lies in Middle Eastern affairs and the challenges to peace, democracy, and human rights afflicting the region, with a particular focus on Iran. My past experiences include interning at the Middle East Institute, where I co-authored a piece on the “Woman, Life, Freedom” movement, and being a Middle East and North Africa correspondent for the London Globalist, an international affairs publication at LSE. As a Global Thought student at Columbia, I hope to gain the interdisciplinary knowledge, analytical tools, and global outlook necessary to navigate the complexities of the region, ultimately making a step towards a meaningful contribution to policy discussions that can pave the way for a more stable, democratic future for the Middle East.
