Citizenship: United States
I was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, before my family immigrated to the United States in 1999, settling in New York. I studied design and illustration in college and pursued a career as a Digital/Motion Designer. During my teenage years, I lived in Missouri for a year and traveled extensively across the country with my family, experiencing its rich diversity.
During the pandemic, I lived in San Francisco for work before returning to New York to be closer to my family. Volunteering at animal shelters in both San Francisco and New York has been a profound passion of mine. I derive great fulfillment from helping homeless animals find homes and connecting with incredible people through these endeavors. Writing has long been a cherished interest, particularly in a journalistic style, and I am eager to further explore this passion alongside my studies in Global Studies, embracing the exciting opportunities.
