UCGT Global Thought Lab on Global Philanthropy
with Engineers Without Borders (EWB) and GlobeMed
Saturday, March 26, 2016 • 4-5PM
Columbia University, Lerner Hall, Room 569
The Undergraduate Committee on Global Thought is excited to launch a new series called “Global Thought Lab.” These events are student-led discussions with our peers on pertinent global issues. It is a chance for the UCGT to connect with the numerous other global groups across the Columbia undergraduate community and to bring together our ideas to create a global learning environment. We are excited to announce our inaugural Global Thought Lab in partnership with Engineers without Borders and GlobeMed on Global Philanthropy.
This Global Thought Lab on Global Philanthropy gave students the opportunity to discuss their experiences abroad, followed by break-out discussion groups on the influences—both positive and negative—of global philanthropic ventures.
