The Undergraduate Committee on Global Thought invites you to attend the 2024 Research Symposium: Local | Global Selves, Reimagined Solidarities.
Members of the UCGT will present on their year-long research projects on California’s Anti-Caste Discrimination and Grassroots Mobilization, as well as the work of South Asian revolutionaries and their diasporic imaginaries. After these presentations, participants will be invited to participate in “the Imaginary Museum.” We invite and encourage all interested members of the audience to bring an object, a book, a piece of art, a poem, or anything else that captures a part of your life story and symbolizes your local-global experiences and share this with everyone at the symposium!
