Rise of Fall Together: The One Shared. World Interdependence Summit 2020

CGT Chair Vishakha Desai joined some of the world’s most inspiring people, including World Health Organization COVID-19 coordinator David Nabarro, National Geographic Explorer, and leading environmentalist Enric Sala, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health Dean Michelle Williams, climate change expert and Indian MP Jairam Ramesh, youth activist Kekhashan Basu, and many others. Other institutional partners include the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, AFS, Asia Society, Think Inc., Internews, and the African Leadership Institute. The event also included performances by opera superstar Renee Fleming and Australian Sikh rap star L-Fresh the LION.

The summit explored the essential role a deep appreciation of our mutual interdependence must play in resolving our greatest common challenges including pandemics, climate change, and systemic global poverty and inequality.
