Bill Crerend was formerly Chairman and CEO of EACM Advisors, a global investment advisor, where he spent 25 years. EACM oversaw over $5 billion at its peak and was one of the first to specialize in creating hedge fund portfolios for institutional investors. Starting as a small independent firm, EACM became an industry leader ultimately acquired by BNY Mellon, one of the largest investment managers in the world. Bill also served as a member of the Executive Committee of BNY Mellon Asset Management and the Operating Committee of BNY Mellon. He is a graduate of Princeton University and the University of Chicago School of Law. Bill is currently a private investor. He is a member of the Cardiac Council of the Columbia University Irving Medical Center and the Advisory Council to the Columbia University Committee On Global Thought, and is a former member of the Visitors Committee of the University of Chicago School of Law. He lives with his wife, Teresa Saputo-Crerend, ’87 CC and ’92 Bus, and three children, the oldest of which is CC ‘22.
