Global Thought Labs
The Undergraduate Committee on Global Thought (UCGT) is excited to launch a new series called Global Thought Labs. These events are student-led discussions with our peers on pertinent global issues. It is a chance for the UCGT to connect with the numerous other global groups across the Columbia undergraduate community and to bring together our ideas to create a global learning environment.
The UCGT is proud to announce its inaugural Global Thought Lab on “Global Philanthropy,” in partnership with Engineers without Borders and GlobeMed. This Global Thought Lab on Global Philanthropy will give students the opportunity to discuss their experiences abroad, followed by break-out discussion groups on the influences—both positive and negative—of global philanthropic ventures.
