Omar Al Mutawa (M.A. in Global Thought, Class of 2017) is a United Arab Emirates youth representative to the United Nations. He and fellow youth representative Sarah Al Suwaidi delivered a statement during the UN General Assembly’s Second Committee deliberations on the UN Conference on Human Settlements, Habitat, highlighting the important role played by the youth in development as agents of change.
