Caroline Mendoza is a junior in Columbia College studying human rights. Caroline is interested in peacebuilding and genocide prevention and has previously worked with the State Department, Refugees International, Search for Common Ground, and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. She has served as a research assistant for the Columbia Institute of Latin American Studies and the Committee on Global Thought and hopes to focus her research on the intersection of conflict and gender. Originally from Los Angeles, Caroline hopes to pursue graduate school to focus on women, peace, and security.
