Juliana Marston is a junior at Columbia College (CC ‘25) studying environmental chemistry. She is interested in the intersection between sustainability and chemistry, which she hopes to further pursue as a Global Thought Scholar. Juliana is currently a part of the Yip Lab at Columbia University where she researches the desalinization of hypersaline brines using novel techniques such as temperature swing solvent extraction. She is especially interested in water treatment, biofuel, and waste management.
