Eduardo Gonzalo Arteaga is a second-year neuroscience and public health student in Columbia College on the pre-med track. His medical interests lie primarily in neuro-anesthesia, having applied this to novel diagnostic and therapeutic approaches to subarachnoid hemorrhagic stroke. As a Global Thought Scholar, he hopes to unveil global health inequality and alternative forms of equity through biosocial analysis. His research goals intend to explore the artificially created scarcity of medical personnel, equipment, and pharmaceuticals.
