M.A. Student – Class of 2022
Citizenship: China
Leaving Shenzhen, the city I grew up in, at the age of 16 and always moving, I can hardly define a single place as home. Home for me is thus where loved ones, dreams, and destinations are. Before I went to college, I was lost about what to pursue, but when I took my first art history class at Emory, my passion for arts and humanity was ignited again. After returning to China due to COVID-19, I became interested in new media and became an influencer. Rather than confining myself within a single area of study, I aspire to find a path that combines my love for multiple disciplines such as arts, media, and business, and the Global Thought program is the right place for me to be.
