M.A. Student – Class of 2022

Although raised in New York, I consider many places home thanks to my frequent travels. Be it northern California, where I completed my undergraduate degree in International Relations with minors in French and Anthropology, or London, where I completed my MSc in Social Anthropology; if there’s good coffee, food, and people, I’m home. During my time at Columbia, I will continue to hone my skills as an anthropologist while broadening the scope of my expertise in related fields. Building on my MSc in Social Anthropology, my research focuses on the ways in which various technologies (VR, robots, and A.I.) and humans change and shape each other. After completing my time in the Global Thought Program, I aim to utilize my research to inform a career in User Experience Research before pursuing a Ph.D. in Social Anthropology.
