M.A. Student – Class of 2022

Citizenship: Indonesia

Growing up raised by a feminist father in a culturally diverse society, Indonesia, I became very passionate about the intersection between cultural relativism and the gendered economy. After completing my B.A. in Political Science in 2019, I worked as a researcher for Lembaga Demografi and Women’s World Banking to evaluate public policies specifically designed to improve the economic welfare of the 10 million poorest female population in Indonesia. At Global Thought, I aim to seek solutions to the debate on global development versus fairness by learning the skills required to create global policies that can accommodate the efficiency of markets for a country with cultural and sociological complexity such as Indonesia.
