Citizenship: Canada

I grew up in a small seaside town in Atlantic Canada, but for the past several years I have called Vancouver, the unceded traditional territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations, my home. Since completing my Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) at the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University in 2018, I have been working on strategic campaigns to mainstream solutions to the twin crises of biodiversity loss and climate change through engaging the business sector. Such work has ranged from facilitating workshops at the World Biodiversity Forum to producing documentaries and events that have been staged at festivals including SxSW and NYCxDESIGN. Through the M.A. in Global Thought, I look forward to intermixing fields including public policy and corporate governance with methodologies such as co-design. My goal is to work with the private sector to create frameworks for cross-sectoral partnerships and evolve the role of business in sustainable development outcomes.
