Citizenship: Singapore
I was born and raised in Singapore, undergoing most of my formal education there. As part of my National Service obligations, I was commissioned as an Army Infantry Officer of the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) in 2019 before heading over to the United Kingdom, where I received a Bachelor of Science in Philosophy, Politics and Economics at King’s College London. Through the Global Thought program, I hope to increase my exposure to a wide variety of topics and disciplines, with a particular focus on defense analysis, policymaking, as well as how Big Tech and the advent of new media shape national security. Upon graduation, I will return to the SAF to resume my military service, where I will assume a variety of command and staff appointments and contribute to strengthening Singapore’s national defense.
