Citizenship: United States

Although I hail from the United States, I can hardly call one singular place home as I have lived in nine different U.S. states throughout my life. I recently graduated from the honors college at the University of Alabama with a degree in Communicative Disorders and a minor in Global and Cultural Perspectives. My passions lie within the realm of global public health and I have worked extensively with the medical nonprofit Operation Smile as well as with other international organizations such as Volunteers Initiative Nepal. I am particularly excited to continue learning about critical global issues and will focus my research on how these often intersect with public health crises. Following my completion of the Global Thought program, I aim to work internationally for an NGO to raise public health standards in underdeveloped nations.
