Citizenship: Philippines

I was born in the Philippines, where I spent my entire life until moving to California for my undergraduate and graduate studies. At Stanford, I completed a B.S. Computer Science and B.A. History before pursuing an M.S. Symbolic Systems where I applied AI techniques to better understand society. My recent work experience in the education sector as both a data science consultant for education foundations in the Philippines and a co-founder of a startup that develops AI programs for high school students led me to the Global Thought program, during which I aim to pursue research at the intersection of globalization, education, technology, and society. Outside of class, you might find me enjoying a cold brew (even in the winter), reading a gripping short story collection, or talking about my cat!
