Citizenship: Ghana

Ghana was my home for a greater portion of my life until I moved to Washington and Lee University in the U.S. for an exchange program in my junior year. The contrast in experiences in both countries is what sparked my interest in developing economies. Now, as I am off to pursue my Master’s in my new home, New York City, I am excited about the wide variety of disciplines available to me, and the big city experience. The M.A. in Global Thought, in addition to my undergraduate in Business Administration from the University of Ghana, will allow me to explore my passion for international development, particularly focused on developing economies through a career in international financing institutions such as the World Bank.
