Citizenship: Germany
I was born in Germany and spent the first years of my life living there. At the age of 10, I moved to Belgium and later to the UK. I completed my undergraduate studies in London, where I focused my research on the implications of western security practices on racialized subjects. At Columbia, I hope to deepen my understanding of the field by further exploring postcolonialism, intersectionality, and security studies more generally. In the future, I hope to pursue a career in diplomacy.
