Citizenship: Singapore
I grew up in the sunny state of Singapore, but spent the last few years in rainy London, where I pursued a degree in International Relations and History at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Upon graduation from Columbia, I will be working in government communications in Singapore. During my year at Global Thought, I hope to delve into the opportunities and challenges for public communications in a globalized and digitalized era—a marriage of my interests in international affairs, media, and data. More broadly, I seek to inquire how the nexuses between the national and the international are evolving and shaping societies today.
