Citizenship: India

Born in Bhatinda, Punjab, I was raised in multiple cities and towns across India. My undergraduate degree in English Literature from the University of Delhi made me better understand how popular discourse often stands on the debris of alternative discourses, voices of the wronged, transgressions of non-conformists, and protests of the marginalized. Owing to my experiences with violence and abuse, I have come to place a lot of value in dialogue and communication. I hope to utilize my time as a student of Global Thought exploring the intricate co-dependency of discourse, policy, and action. I look forward to contributing actively to nation- and world-building by working in the field of International Relations with a focus on global governance, foreign policy analysis, and diplomacy. I am eager to gain a global perspective through my education and help develop grassroots-level solutions to contemporary problems.
