Citizenship: Saudi Arabia
My name is Filwa, and I call Riyadh my home. I lived in Saudi Arabia for my entire life until I moved to the UK for my undergraduate degree, where I earned a BA in Politics from King’s College London. My ultimate goal is to contribute to my homeland by working in the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs. My passion lies in studying the region I know intimately—the Middle East—through its cultural, religious, and political dimensions. Pursuing a Master’s in Global Thought will improve my understanding of the region and the rest of the world, which will significantly contribute to achieving my goal.
