I was born in the San Francisco Bay Area and growing up I spent my time between there and Taiwan. I graduated with a degree in Philosophy from the Columbia General Studies undergraduate program this last spring. Before then, I worked in tech at a company doing virtual reality for a couple years. I’m passionate about digital information technology and how human culture and society deal with the ubiquitous and yet extreme changes caused by such disruptive technology. I believe that as such technology advances at a breakneck pace, it will be increasingly important to be able to examine its impact at a global level and try to develop a healthier relationship with these technologies in industry and in our societies.
