Citizenship: United States

I was born in the Jiangxi province of China. I spent a few years of my childhood in Wisconsin and grew up primarily in Dallas, Texas. I double majored in International Studies and Francophone Studies at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. I then enrolled in a semester of law school at the University of Minnesota and after deciding it wasn’t for me, I moved to New York City to try something new. Many topics offered within the Global Thought program interest me, including human rights, climate change, and immigration. I hope that through the Global Thought program, I will strengthen my knowledge and understanding of climate issues and how they impact immigration patterns. Following graduation, I hope to build a career in which I am able to help immigrants and people affected by climate change. Alternatively, I would enjoy building a career in education.
