Citizenship: Mexico

I was born and raised in Mexico City, which I proudly call home. However, since September 2021, I have been living in New York City, working for the Consulate General of Mexico, first at the Protection Department and since April 2022 as the Programs Coordinator for the Mexican Cultural Institute. I completed most of my education in Mexico. However, I had the opportunity to study at a dance boarding school in Los Angeles during high school and a semester abroad at Sciences Po in France while studying International Relations. For my year at Global Thought, I am eager to get myself more involved in the field of cultural heritage and to explore the complex issue of restitution. I am driven to contribute to social impact projects, particularly within the arts and culture sector, as I believe in art’s transformative power to create positive societal changes.
